Huge rise in dog fights reported

Aaaanyhoo.. Here is YET again an article.

Summary:
The number of dogfights reported has risen enormous. The RSPCA holds a conference to explain people that it's not the dog breed but the human behind the aggresive dogs. Agencies pin the blame on the dogs instead of the people behind them. The police isn't interested by the dogs being used as status symbols or weapons. The police "will do something about it if they carry a knife or they carry a gun." The RSPCA suggests people should microchip their dog and more dogs should be neutered. The government says they have reviewed the laws and will call irresponsible owners to account.

My opinion:
It's a shame more and more dogs are being used this way. Most dogs are as cute as can be, whatever the breed. Ofcourse, there's personality which can cause a dog to be touchy but almost all dogs are sweet at heart. Dogs can get aggresive when people treat them like crap. I think the RSPCA needs to ask the government to help them get these people because they are abusing the dogs for their own sick needs.
