Hey everybody, here is an article and my summary about it.
The article is a part of 'The Money Programme', which I saw. I had to make a summary of it, so here I go...

Guinness is a famous black stout which sales rates have been dropping for the last years.
With nearly 250 years of history, Guinness decides they should try to survive the jungle of pubs.
They try with their new, lighter and sweeter Guinness Red.
The sales dropped between 13% to 30% overall in the UK.
People in the UK crave for a refreshing and lighter drink which has taken their toll on Guinness.
The company holds hope as the want to attract the public which is more fond of lager than black, strong stout.
A main problem for the company is that Guinness Red isn't avaliable in cans while more and more people choose to drink at home.
Guinness is popular for their extraordinary adverts and their motto "Good things happen to those who wait". This time they go overboard with their adverts which causes people to say this seperates the advert part of the company with the real stout-brewing company.
Will Guinness Red revive the brand?
---
And so I concluce my summary.
My opinion about this article:
I think it's a shame for Guinness to 'almost' close down. I, personally, think it's an very nice stout, which I drink with friends. I hope that Guinness Red can save the company and that other people discover the brand that is Guinness. It's nice to see a company that old and trying to maintain their status as 'black stout brewery' while still attracting other public with all kinds of beverages. I hope to enjoy my pint of Guinness in my favorite Irish pub for the rest of my enjoyable, partying, student life.
Until next time.
